One Ton Pig

One Ton Pig - Biography

For 16 years running, One Ton Pig has performed (nearly) EVERY Tuesday night, year-round, at the Silver Dollar Bar, inside the historic Wort Hotel, in downtown Jackson Hole. Dancers and revelers from all over the world continue to enjoy this on-going Tuesday night tradition.

The progressive, original, new-grass band has built a loyal and passionate following with their tight arrangements, well blended harmonies, mesmerizing jams and though provoking song-craft. With six (all original) albums, a dozen videos, eight gold medals as Jackson’s Best Band, a write up in the New York Times, two legendary jams with GRAMMY award winning Traveling McCourys, support for Old Crow Medicine Show, Railroad Earth, and Wood Bros., featured slots at Dillon Amphitheater Music Series, Aspen HIFI Music Series, Snow Basin Outdoor Series, Music on Main (Bozeman & Victor), Targhee Fest, Concert on the Commons, Oyster Ridge, plus numerous regional tours and fly-to gigs, its no wonder that One Ton Pig is considered a Jackson Hole institution.
